I haven't blogged much about Drew lately (only emails to family) but Drew has been having a lot of problems keeping ANY food down and we found out that he was diagnosed with GERD (or really severe acid reflux). He hadn't gained any weight in 5 weeks and is currently right under the 50th percentile for weight at 20.1 pounds but in the 95th for height (29 inches). Yesterday we saw a great pediatric GI specialist and he thinks Drew will be doing much better on two new medications. If he isn't better after his first birthday then he would require surgery but it doesn't look like that will happen. We are hopeful he will put on some weight soon :)
This is our back yard and on his 8 month birthday I took him outside for a little photo shoot.
He is such a happy little guy and add so much to our family. We all just love and adore "Baby Drew" although we are trying to drop the "baby" part.
