Christmas 2009

The wonder and awe of Christmas presents! It was a magical, calm Christmas this year. Jack opened one present on Christmas Eve.

Drew did, too.
We had a very full tree on Christmas morning! Jack was so excited! We got some great video but can't share it because it is on the video camera. I have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER seen him jump out of bed so fast in my life...he usually takes a while to wake up. It was so much fun. Jack totally got it this year and just kept opening and opening and opening and wanted to open all our presents, too. This is also the last picture with our dear tree, Charlie. He was a hand-me-down tree from 8 years ago and we named him Charlie Brown (remember his pathetic tree) because he was so "loved." He now resides at Murray Dump as we bought a new one on clearance.

Drew loved sitting on the presents.

And wearing the bows!

Jack got a kitchen, shopping carts, basket, and TONS of food. He has had a lot of fun playing with it all.

It was the first time in a long time that EVERYONE in our house got a nap. It was great (especially since Drew has been so sick and up a lot at night--he woke Jeff and me up at 5 am so we just got ready and woke Jack up about 7 am).

Not a good hair day, but a love the picture with my boys!!

Daddy and Drew on Christmas morning!

Jack playing with Drew's toy-hee hee!

Jack got a pop-up tent, play house, and tunnels...he convinced me to get in and then Daddy got in, too!!

And then Drew ventured in...and LOVED it! I caught him playing in the tent by himself today...oh, and did I mention he crawled UP THE STAIRS today...yah, he is only 9.5 months old!! Aaahhh!!! He is our little monkey/baby crocodile!

The boys played so well together on Christmas day (a true Christmas miracle).

The day after Christmas...some cute pictures together. They love eachother! Grandpa and Grandma C. got them these cute shirts.

Don't worry Grandparents...pictures are in the mail!! Thank you to everyone who made our Christmas so great! It was a very fun day but we missed being with family. One more funny story...we took down all the xmas decorations that night (we both like them down fast) and ever since then, Jack keeps asking where the tree is and if Santa can come back again. He says, "I want more presents!" I keep saying, "You can have more presents when it is your birthday or next Christmas." It is so funny (but kind of sad). He thinks if I put the tree back up that more presents will come, too. Ha!

It was a good hair day! Before I saw your caption I was thinking, "her hair looks so cute!" Love that you named your tree!
